AKC/UKC/INT’L CH MINNEMATO’S HELLBENT FOR ELECTION
CD, RN, CGC
(OFA HE, L, HrC, CN)

Ellie is one of eleven puppies born in the spring of 2000 to our very special dam, Majik. One of our most active Newfoundlands, she loves doing things – anything – and excels at everything she does, including conformation, obedience and agility. She is an excellent mother and has produced some outstanding puppies. One of her sons, Minnemato’s Nedeckshe Jack (Jack), won the 12-18 month class at the 2004 Newfoundland Club of America National Specialty. A daughter, Minnemato’s Sacagewea (Gigi), won Best in Show at a United Kennel Club show in Minnesota, in April, 2005. Another son, Minnemato’s Lake Thunder (Cole) has earned his AKC Companion Dog title and was High in Trial at the Northstar Regional Specialty in St. Cloud, Minnesota in 2005. Cole lives with his family in Duluth, Minnesota. All three of these dogs are AKC pointed.

Now that she is retired from the whelping box, Ellie is working on the Advanced Rally (RA) and Companion Dog Excellent (CDX) titles. Ellie is an excellent ambassador for the breed and participates in obedience demonstrations and Meet the Breed functions in various parts of the state. She is a delightful companion.
Circe is a lovely, sweet dog who loves to take walks and lie at your feet. She is broad, carries a beautiful full coat, and has outstanding head type. Like Ellie and Lacey, she is also out of Majik’s eleven puppy litter. Circe has had one litter of puppies. One of the puppies, Minnemato’s Cercle de Tonnerre (Allie) lives with her owner in Germany and will be exhibited there. Another lives in Nebraska and is being trained as a Junior Handler dog as well as for conformation. His name is Minnemato’s Sea Pirate (Jack). Another littermate, Minnemato’s Beau Snow (Beau), lives in Maine. He gets to go swimming in the ocean and visit the Harbor Master. His owners have started showing Beau in conformation. A female out of the litter, Emma, lives in Connecticut and is being trained as a therapy dog.

Circe will be working towards her Canine Good Citizen and Rally titles this year. She enjoys life with her two littermate sisters at home with us.

CH MINNEMATO’S CHANTILLY LACE
(OFA HG, L, HrC, CN)

Lacy is a beautiful black Newfoundland with white markings. She is Landseer (white/black) recessive. Lacey is a very active, good moving dog, and is very eager to please. She loves to go to shows. She is a littermate sister to Ellie and Circe. Her offspring include Andromeda (Ch Halcyon Days Andromeda), and Charlie (Minnemato’s Chief Wabasha). Charlie won Winners Dog and Best in Sweeps at a regional specialty when he was thirteen months old. He will be shown selectively in the fall. Lacey’s spring litter of puppies have all gone to their homes and are doing very well.
Waconia is everyone’s friend. She loves everyone she meets and wants to meet everyone! She is a very sweet-tempered, pretty girl. Waconia’s dam is Polly (Ch Minnemato’s Waseca), a grand-daughter of our foundation bitch, Edenglen’s Merry Voyager. The Edenglen dogs were noted for their sweet, eager to please temperaments. Merry passed this trait on to Polly and from her to Waconia. Waconia finished her AKC championship very quickly. She has been working towards her CD and Rally titles and is taking time out to be a mom.

(OFA HE, L, HrC)

CH MINNEMATO’S WASECA
(OFA HG, HrC)
Polly finished her championship out of the Bred By Exhibitor class, thereby earning the recognition that the AKC awards dogs that are breeder/owner handled to their championships. Polly has all the attributes we look for in a companion dog, show dog, and brood bitch: a sweet, eager to please temperament, outstanding conformation (straight front, strong rear, solid topline, excellent balance), and good health. Polly’s dam was our very special Decoria (Ch Minnemato’s Decoria). Polly has had two litters of puppies. Two of them reside with us, Waconia (Ch Minnemato’s Waconia), and Amanda (Minnemato’s Minneopa). Polly loves to be with people and enjoys going places.
Mike is a handsome brown Newfoundland. His very dense, reddish brown coat invites petting. As a puppy he liked to play soccer and even now as a veteran he will still kick a ball around. Mike has sired several litters of puppies. One of his offspring is Hank (AKC/UKC Ch Minnemato’s Vintah Cowboy).

Hank is a big, powerful dog with a very sweet temperament. A white/black (Landseer) Newfoundland, Hank attracts attention wherever he goes. He finished his AKC championship quite easily, and then went on to become a UKC champion as well. He has recently sired an all black litter of puppies.
Charlie is one of our two white/black (Landseer) Newfoundlands. He is very large, standing 30 inches at the withers. He is a very playful, high energy, and fun -loving dog. Charlie’s dam is Lacey (Ch Minnemato’s Chantilly Lace). His sire is Hawkeye (CH Toad Hall’s Field of Dreams), the Best of Breed winner at the Westminster Kennel Club show in 2001, and 2002. Charlie started his show career by winning Winner’s Dog and Best in Sweepstakes at the Northstar Regional Specialty in December, 2005 at age thirteen months. He completed his UKC championship at eighteen months of age. At the present time Charlie is working towards his Canine Good Citizen and Companion Dog title. He will resume his show career in the fall.
